Holiday Light Show 2013

For the 2013 Christmas show, we went with the idea of a christmas storyteller character to guide us through the show. In my mind he's a mix of Willy Wonka and Burt from Mary Poppins, and the entire art style is inspired by fifties christmas cards. This year's screens were based on ringing church bells.
This year I focused on design, and handed off character animation to the amazing Tatia Rosenthal. I then edited, composited and did the special effects. Special thanks also to Katie Kirschner who handled the dove's flying loop.
